Description
In Apologia’s Live Class, English Grammar: God’s Gift of the Written Word, students will develop their skills in basic grammar by surveying significant concepts of the English language, such as punctuation, formatting, and traditional sentence diagramming (which trains students to quickly analyze any sentence’s purpose and structure).
The text and the course will use excerpts from Scripture and great English literature to provide meaningful examples and exercises. This helps students learn and apply the given skills to their writing and gain a firm grasp of English.
As Christians, we should be students of the Word, and to do so, we must have a basic understanding of English. These skills will be used throughout your student’s education and in your everyday communication.

The class will end with another opportunity to ask questions if students are unclear about the new material.
