Kristy Plourde, M.S.

Kristy Plourde is the author of Exploring Creation with Chemistry, 3rd Edition. She holds a master’s degree in chemistry and has served as an assistant professor of chemistry at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy. Kristy has more than three decades’ experience in environmental science and emergency response. She currently leads emergency response training for the U.S. Coast Guard in Yorktown, VA. Kristy and her husband, Jeffrey, homeschooled their two boys through high school.
