Alabama

The Creating Hope and Opportunity for Our Students’ Education Act of 2024 (The CHOOSE Act) is administered by the Alabama Department of Revenue (ALDOR). The CHOOSE Act Alabama makes refundable income tax credits called education savings accounts (ESAs) available to support the success of eligible K-12 students in Alabama. An ESA can be used to pay for tuition, fees, and other qualified education expenses at approved Education Service Providers (ESPs) in Alabama. The ESA is for $2,000 per participating student who is participating in a home education program (maximum of $4,000 per family) and administered through ClassWallet.

The Arizona Empowerment Scholarship Account (ESA) provides funds to cover multiple education expenses such as private school tuition, curricula, educational supplies, tutoring and more. The program is offered though a contract between ClassWallet and the Arizona Department of Education.

The Education Freedom Account (EFA) program of Arkansas administered by Class Wallet. Beginning with the 2025-2026 school year, all Arkansas students will be eligible to participate in the EFA program. This expansion will provide even more families with access to a growing range of educational options.

Georgia

Signed into law in 2024, through Senate Bill 233, the Georgia Promise Scholarship Program is aimed to empower families to pursue exceptional educational programs through nonpublic schooling, including private school and home study. Should eligible families choose to leave public school (or forgo attending as a new kindergartener) to participate, the Georgia Promise Scholarship will allow families to use funds for private school tuition and fees, required textbooks, tutoring services, curriculum, physician/therapist services, transportation services, and other approved expenses. This program is administered through Odyssey.

Step Up for Students empowers Florida students with personalized education scholarships. Apologia is a listed vendor for the ESA Personalized Education Program (PEP), FES-Unique Abilities Scholarship, and the New Worlds Scholarship in both MyScholarShop and EMA.

The Louisiana Giving All True Opportunity to Rise (LA GATOR) Scholarship Program, created by Act 1 of the 2024 Louisiana Legislature and signed into law by Governor Jeff Landry, provides eligible families with education scholarship accounts (ESAs). These accounts allow families to personalize their child’s education using state-funded accounts for school tuition and fees, tutoring, educational therapies, textbooks and curricula, dual enrollment courses, and uniforms.

The New Hampshire Education Freedom Accounts (EFA) program was created by the State of New Hampshire to help expand educational opportunities for New Hampshire children. Eligible New Hampshire families can use funding to pay for tuition at the school of their choice, tutoring, online learning programs, educational supplies, and other educational expenses. The program is offered though a contract between ClassWallet and the New Hampshire Department of Education.

Utah Fits All is a universal school choice scholarship program signed into law in 2023! All K-12 students who are residents of Utah qualify to receive the full amount of $8000, whether they currently attend public, private, homeschool, or are just starting kindergarten. The program is offered through ACE Scholarships, selected by the Utah State Board of Education and administered through Odyssey.
