The laboratory equipment required for this course includes the following items: 5 dropper pipets, 5 plastic test tubes, 5 plastic test tube caps. It is different from the glassware set used for our first year chemistry course, as the kit includes chemicals (listed below), copper strip (wire), zinc strip (wire), 9-Volt battery cap, filter paper, starch packing peanuts, 10 cotton swabs, small Funnel, chemical scoop, depression plate, Advanced Chemistry test tube rack, pH chart, chromatography paper, and safety goggles.
Here is a list of the chemicals found in this kit: Ammonium chloride, Calcium chloride, Cobalt chloride, Cupric sulfate, Ferric Ammonium sulphate, Lime Water (Calcium hydroxide solution), Napthalene, Phenolphthalein solution, Polyvinyl Alcohol Adhesive, Potassium Iodide Solution, Sodium Borate (Borax), Sodium Carbonate, Sodium Ferrocyanide, Sodium Sulfate, Sodium Thiosulfate, and Universal Indicator Solution.
