Description
Apologia’s Fundamentals of Math class Fundamentals of Math introduces a scope of subjects and provides a base for higher-level math. Students will explore decimals, fractions, integers, area and volume, statistics, and more. Problem-solving and real-life uses of math are featured in each chapter. Dominion through Math exercises regularly illustrates how mathematics can be used to manage God’s creation to His glory. Fundamentals of Math lays a solid foundation for higher-level math courses. With this solid foundation, students will be able to excel in pre-algebra, which will provide a smooth transition to high-school math.
Schedule: One prerecorded, 15-minute class posted daily Monday – Thursday
NOTE: Students will watch recorded classes, but Mrs. Pennington will be available for questions and feedback in real time.

Course Specifics
Students are expected to watch the daily video, read the corresponding section of the workbook, and complete the assigned problems for the day. Every Friday, students will take a quiz or exam graded by the teacher. The teacher is available to answer questions through email at any time.
